    By admin | October 4, 2007

To have a web site on the Internet you need a web server. However, owning and operating a web server can be very costly and requires technical expertise that most people or businesses do not possess. This is where “webhosts” come in. Web hosts provide the equipment and other technical resources that are required to provide a consumer with their own customized web site. Hosting companies charge a rental fee for the service of storing personalized web sites and allowing website visitor traffic flow through their computers to get to the information on the specified site.

Web hosting refers to the process of publishing a website or a blog, so that it’s available to the world on the Internet, it’s the system that makes content, you want everyone to be able to access online, available online. In other words, a service that allows you to post your message, content or information about a product or service through web pages on the Internet for anyone who might be interested in it. A webhost, or hosting service provider (HSP), is an individual, group or a company that provides the technologies and services required for websites, blogs, forums etc. to be run and maintained on the web.
